Lasilissa (Lissa TSP)
Lasilissa, shown in the U.S. under the name Lissa TSP (click here for video), is an imported Holsteiner mare with an extremely impressive record in sport. She has shown through the 1.50m Grand Prix with Christian Rogge in the irons, bringing home ribbons from shows all across the country. Lissa has ideal conformation for the sport, plus a sweet temperament and a classic jumper pedigree. Mares by Lasino are quickly proving to be especially good producers, with many 1.50-1.60m offspring already in the ring. She is "The Real Deal" and will produce foals with enough talent to go all the way to the top of the sport.
Chanel Z (click here for video) showed through 1.40m in Europe before being imported to the US, where she showed through the same height with both amateur and junior riders. Though she comes to us fresh out of the show ring, she already has one offspring competing at 1.40m in the UK. Her bloodlines can't get any better; her sire Crown Z has two Olympic level parents in Carthago Z and Ratina Z, and Chanel's damsire is the legendary Heartbreaker. A little dash of Thoroughbred via Painter's Row xx helps contribute to her more modern build, speed, and agility over fences. Given her history in the show ring, the offspring already competing, and her incredible pedigree, we can't wait to see what she produces for us!
Interlaken, barn name Laken, is a stunning mare with a temperament to match. She is by the Grand Prix jumper stallion Torino whose pedigree combines the legendary showjumping stallions Heartbreaker and Cassini. Not only has her sire performed impressively in the ring, Laken's dam was also a proven A/O jumper competitor herself. Laken's full brother Heron, while still young, is working his way up the levels in the jumper ring. This mare combines the best of both worlds - excellent pedigree and plenty of rideability. Laken will produce talented jumper prospects for the serious junior/amateur or professional rider.
Westbound, also known as Sadie, is a big lovely mare by the well-known hunter sire Westporte out of a quality thoroughbred mare. Sadie is easy going with a great temperament, and was bred, raised, and ridden by an amateur rider. Her rideability, movement, size, and great jump make her the perfect candidate to produce top-notch offspring suitable for both the amateur or professional rider, especially for the hunter derby ring. She has already given us one big lovely colt by Mezcalero, who has inherited her fantastic temperament.
2008 13.3h Sportpony
Thundercat, also known as Stormie, is a very athletic and versatile pony with a huge heart. She is a careful jumper and fantastic mover who also shows exceptional scope over fences; truly a little power house! We believe that Stormie has all the attributes that a top class sportpony needs--good looks, rideability, excellent gaits, and a great brain. She happily tackles and masters any task that we put in front of her. Her foals will be excellent candidates for hunters, jumpers, or eventing.
Habile Pesrelle (Hanna)
1995 15.3h Selle Francais by Iris Landai out of Quesette (full pedigree)
Hanna is the one who started it all! We were lucky enough to acquire Hanna as our very first broodmare at Willow Tree, which started us down the path to becoming a breeding farm. Hanna was born and raised in Belgium, where she started her over fences career by winning a 4yo young horse championship out of over 100 horses. Then she was imported to the US and became a hunter, showing very successfully through the Junior hunter and First Year Green divisions. Hanna is very quiet, simple, and easy to ride. She now relishes her role as the farm's official babysitter and ambassador, and still enjoys attending the occasional horse show or clinic.
Spellbound (Can Can Catherine xx)
1997 16.1h Thoroughbred by Mr. Sparkles xx out of Feighter xx (full pedigree)
